Petra, the heart of Mallorca

Petra is one of the municipalities of Mallorca that preserves its essence intact. In addition to its fascinating cycle routes, its agricultural and wine-growing tradition, the town pays tribute to the Franciscan friar Junípero Serra who evangelized California in the 18th century. In his honor are preserved his birthplace, monuments such as a square of the same name and a museum that brings together documents and objects in tribute to his life and work.

Petra Wines

The Petra plain has allowed the wine-growing exploitation of its lands, which belong to the DO Pla i Llevant of Mallorca. The wineries of Can Coleto and Miquel Oliver stand out.

Hermitage of Bonany

Bonany is a protected natural area that has a beautiful hermitage at the top from whose viewpoint you can see the Tramuntana mountains rising over the Pla de Mallorca and the bay of Alcudia.
